Hello! My name is Jennifer and I am an artist and art educator.
I began teaching visual arts in 2009, focusing on drawing and painting. Originally, I created videos for my high school students but expanded to cater to anyone interested in learning about art. I believe everyone should have access to quality arts education and aim to empower my students to make their own artistic choices by teaching skills, techniques, and the creative process. Art is for everyone, and there are many ways to be creative!

How to Trace, Transfer or Sketch your Line Work for a Watercolor Painting
This video will walk you through methods for getting your line work on your watercolor paper for a watercolor painting. These methods can also be used for other types of artwork/media too, but in this particular example I am using it for a watercolor painting. The bottle image I am using was taken by me.
Materials:
Reference image (printed)
HB or 2B pencil
Eraser
Watercolor paper
Masking tape
Stylus tool or ball point pen
Light box (or window or lit up screen/dark room)

She might seem good but she isn’t, I don’t want this to be a bad comment but she didn’t explain it right so i did the whole thing wrong on my painting for school. I couldn’t even paint over it so it was a waist of my time. I didn’t find it useful. Not subscribing, sarah
Not entirely sure what you mean by your comment. This is the proper method for using carbon paper to transfer an image outline to paper or a similar surface. Maybe it wasn't the best method for what you were trying to accomplish, that could be true. I definitely didn't explain this particular process wrong, but in the world of art and DIY there are multiple methods, so I hope you find something that works for you.
